To make school look sexy? Say no more. Let’s add some pizzazz to a booklet that will charm people into joining the graphic design program!
Dawson is about learning... well... everything, doubting most of the time, and laughing a lot. The Graphic Design program is mostly about stories, shared in the studio and in the all-purpose labs. We use a storytelling approach, which gives the effect of discovering the reminiscences of a found memory box.
The goal was to create an 80-page booklet to guide interested new and future graphic design students at Dawson, the only Anglophone college offering a graphic design program.
Through the delicate and playful use of monospace type and blurred photography, we mixed the digital and the analog because we always start and go back to our hands. This approach intends to show how versatile the program is and that there’s no limit to finding a design solution.
